With Bradley Smith contracted to Tech3 for a MotoGP ride next year, it's well known that there is only one other ride available in the team - for Cal, Dovi or someone else.
With each "prototype" manufacturer allowed only 4 bikes on the grid, Yamaha can't just go and build another to keep both Cal and Dovi on board.
I'm sure that if Cal and Dovi keep their current form, Yamaha won't want to loose either of them (particularly if Bradley's results in Moto2 don't improve).
There may be a solution ....... Ben's Peas only seems to be contracted in the works Yamaha squad until the end of the season ......
I guess he's now got quite an incentive to improve on his current form or it may be "bye bye"
Obviously early days and far too early to speculate ..... but ..........

As Ben Spies was going backwards yesterday I thought that it would be a good move for Yamaha to give him the works ride along side Lorenzo.
As much as would like to see another british rider in motoGP I just don't think Smith has the stones to ride a big GP bike.

It seems they have yet to find a way of unsticking his top and bottom teeth.
He doesn't do too bad seeing as they must have to feed him through a straw.
