bloody ebay and its stoopid users UPDATE

#1 Post by fatboy » Sat Apr 28, 2012 7:22 pm

Eblag have found in favour of both buyer and seller
Buyer is entitled to a refund but ONLY on reciept of the engine
Buyer only has to pay the same for return shipping as I paid ( I lose out )

As the guy has had the motor for 2 months, I have every reason to believ
e he may have stripped the good bits
Ebay will soon be in reciept of a letter from my solicitor

do take photos when it has arrived - and then claim the products are damaged etc

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Aladin, it would be difficult to prove that he raped the motor for parts as I dont have photographic evidence of its re build so its word against word.
We will be going for a flat refusal to accept the motor on the grounds of
1) He was told the easiest way to marry the wiring would be to change the stator plate for the one on the motor he claims to have
2)He admits a Honda dealer in Sweden told him it IS the correct unit
3) The amount of time he has had the motor
4) He has said the motor is bolted into his frame and fits
If you bought some bike boots mail order and they proved to be,for some reason the wrong size or colour, would it take you 2 months to send em back?
After admitting that you can actually put them on ?
Sure the guy is a scammer and Im not havin it,full stop. Ibroke the bike so I could get my Falco flying again

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Tell him that to make it easier, you had hoped to move to the same planet that he's on ...... but failed the entry exam as you displayed a degree of logic and common sense.
