V6 2.5 Cavalier engine, ECU and auto gearbox

#1 Post by Nooj » Mon Apr 23, 2012 12:31 pm

I was given this buy a customer who just wanted it out of their way. Apparently it's all in working order.

2.5 litre V6
RWD Auto box (not fitted)
ECU plus another box of electronics (don't know what it does)
Engine mounts
Haynes book

Popular with the kit car scene (which I know nothing about), should fetch about £400 so make me an offer.

Buyer to collect, and you'll need and engine hoist/rugby team as it's fecking heavy!!

I'll copy that to a place I know where they like V6s!

I think Mr O'Pottomas might have been thinking of putting something like that in his little beast

Bugger.. I've not got the room to store it, otherwise I'd make an offer. Am currently off loading bikes, so if it's still around in a month or so, I may be able to make an offer. :smt001
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Still here, Will if you're interested? Would be happy with a reasonable offer as it's in the way and I'd like some garage floor back :smt003

(edit) There's a length of prop-shaft and a large, heavy, doughnut shaped thing (something to do with the auto box???) with it as well that I forgot to list.

..... he's just revealed that he's decided to keep the falco and get rid of the car (unless he's had another change of heart)

Don't think this would fit in a Falco frame.

Think I'm keeping both now..lol :smt003

I'm still pushed for space at the minute bud. For every bike I get rid of, another takes it's place. You know how it is, right? :smt101
