Could be about to jump ship......

#1 Post by TwinNut » Mon Apr 02, 2007 8:55 pm

Went out for my first ride in a while yesterday (Wirral Egg Run & North Wales) and on the ride home I couldn't help thinking I fancied a change. If truth be told I even thought I'm bored of the bike despite all the bits I've done to it. So unless I change my mind within the next week I'll be putting the bike back to standard so all the various bits will be up for sale. So as a heads up to anyone who's about to buy some bits for their bike the following stuff should be available in the next few weeks BUT I reserve the right to change my mind and keep the bike though, I'm still wavering a bit :smt003)...if I do go ahead with this then you fella's will get first refusal on this lot before they go on ebastid to highest bidder:

Falco specific Ohlins (1500 miles)
Mille Sachs (with ride height)
Linkages for Mille Ohlins/Sachs
OZ Mille wheels powder coated black
Wavey Discs front and one-off rear (500 miles)
Gilles Vario bars (bar risers in black and silver)
Gilles Rearsets (Titanium colour)
Mike's Grilles Radiator Grilles (Silver)
Titanium one-off exhaust hangers (beautiful)
Clear Rear Lens (Paddy has first refusal but might have to fight D-Rider for it though :smt062)
Home-made evo airbox with K&N filter - works nice, induction noise!!
Blue Flame Evo (single exit) Titanium cans with two types of removable baffles (un-badged and BS stamped)
Power Commander III (USB) - Brand new and unused
Oberon Engineering - Alloy reservoir covers & stainless steel bar ends
Baglux tank harness (Black)
Skidmark double-bubble screen in black (slight chip at the bottom where it fell off the bench)
May be other stuff that I've forgotten about......

There's a load of good stuff here and it's all in either excellent or immaculate condition.

I just can't help thinking that I want to get back on a 1000 four, i just want the smoothness and effortless drive back. I always seem to get a two year itch and its about that time again and my eyes have started to wander......I'm fancying one of the new FZ1 Fazer's, in black of course, with a decent can......138bhp and super-comfy..... :smt003

Wasn't that your 1st ride since last August?

Cos if it was, I'd not be surprised, you've forgotten how to ride.

I "might" be interested in your rear-set mate, decide nearer the time
if that's OK.

WHAT ?? !!

First Rich, Now you !!

What's going on!

I hope this isn't catching - I want to keep mine but it looks as though my days may be numbered if an epidemic breaks out. :smt022

Come on TN, see reason - disappoint all those greedy asset strippers that want the nice bits from your bike and come to your senses.

Mind you, I did waver a bit last year when mine went for a service and I had that R6 loaner ..... eventually got that out of my system though.

Oh well, guess you'll do what you feel you must - whatever that turns out to be. :smt002

And as for those goodies you're tempting us with, it seems that I've spotted this too late for the bits I would want (those I could actually afford at any rate)

Hope you change your mind about selling but each to their own. Also thanks for remembering me with the lens. If you do sell I will be interested in the baglux if no one else has laid a claim.
And before you sell lets have a meet up and go for a final blast together.

If you really want to do it...I'd be interested in airbox. Pictures and price?
