Well, motocycles are still quite rare there (due to the weather mainly, methinks). When I used to meat anyone on any bike it was something. Bike chat was a necessity.
I tried this here in UK and, TBH, it doesn't work. Most people here treat their bikes as means o transport. They just assumed that I want to sell them something

At least they behaved like this. So I stopped doing that. " So you ride as well. And?..."
There are more bikes here (which is all good) but the side effect is that they are common, the exclusivility factor is gone.
