New Tuono Ordered

#1 Post by Falco9 » Sun Apr 01, 2007 5:40 pm

Hello!!!!!!

Is anyone there?

Well whilst I wait for my new Tuono to be delivered (in Blue the colour IMHO) I thought I'd be the first to get things rolling over here, seeing as those Falco owners act they own the place. :smt003 :smt008

As I'm transferring from Falco ownership has anyone esle made the swap recently? any points to look out for?

What's the 1st service going to cost me? and is it essential the valve clearances are checked. personally I don't think so. I've not known a V60 need shims before 18k and 99% don't need them until about 40k or more so why pay about £300 for nothing?

Someone must look here from time to time, the Tuono forum at AF1 is always busy so why not here? :smt017

Lets start a trend :smt016

F9 (maybe time for T9??) :smt006

This forum reminds me of dead at night refugee's.

I think you need to ask Hammy/Kwack to add it into the Falco bit, if you're looking for some action.

Congrats anyway (btw I'd treat it as a Falco for old men (upright stance and all that)) :smt003 :smt005

Come on F9 ... time to start modding.

With a bit of effort it may even be possible to begin to make a Tuono look good.

I'm thinking a nice 3/4 fairing and some clip-ons would be a good start.

A few more mods and it could end up something like this:

A chap on the Falco forum called Gio has one that looks just like this.

Cold in ere innit :smt006

Interestingly enuff I've been admiring Tuonos for a while and it'll probably be one that I get to replace my beloved Falco if I ever had to get rid. But TBH it's more than likely I'll end up with both but not til i get rid of the GS500 or the CBR600.

Happy riding O Former Falco Blinging Dood :smt001

Well it's official, I'm definately on my own, 10 days and not one Tuono owner has answered the call. :smt009

Thanks for all your support (if that's what you call it!!! :smt005 :smt005 )

Should have my bike this weekend (decided against collecting on Fri 13th) will post a pic (to myself, by the looks of it) :smt016

Shouldn't be too hard to turn it back into a Falco should it? :smt017
