Malteaser en francais...

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Mon Feb 20, 2012 8:48 pm

So watching a tv drama

Set in France

With French cars

French actors

French locations etc

The question?

"what language are they speaking?"

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Genius! :smt003 :smt003
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Not surprised .... these cunning linguists can fool anyone.

The way that some of them can roll their r's can be a distraction ..... though that's less of a French thing - they tend to do that thing with their r's deep in their throat.

Had a similar moment myself this evening. Got ready to go to An Evening with Nick Sanders, at Streetbike, Halesowen.

Rang the friend I was going with - 'Shouldn't we be moving soon?'

'No Mart, it's next Tuesday'.

Anyway, Hanna, you're a quarter of a century younger than me - what's your excuse?

Oh, I forgot - you've got to cope with Pink Hat Man :smt002

I turned up at bike club night to ind no-one else there. Rotten lot, I thought, I didn't want to turn out either. And went home.

Hm. Should've been there the week before..............
