No sarcasm this time !
Would like to hear what you swear by or swear at as all my previuos choices have left a little to be desired, my current winter gloves are Held with a neat visor wiper bonded onto one finger but look/feel as good as a carrier bag if I stack it

Cleverly disguised as an adult !
Tour Master.
My brother bought me a pair over from Canada. I think you can get them here. I used to realy suffer with cold hands and these have made a real differnce. I road home (20 miles) at around 10 PM last night and I think it was around -7. Not too painfull.

Chap I know in Wales use to deal bike kit. I bought a pair of winter gloves from him (£25 I think) and they're kin brilliant. Don't do much in the way of winter riding any more.. Heated grips are also an extremely good idea.
As for 'total cover' winter kit.. Ye can't beat a Reliant Robin. When all others were stuck in the snow, I merely tootled past in my three wheeled contraption. Light, rear wheel drive and a not so powerful motor. Ideal.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Also consider inner gloves.... I used to have a set of RAF issue silk inner gloves for flight crew - awesome
The other material I would highly rate is possum fur inners - but they are bulky
Failing that I rate a Volvo s40 - heated seats for the win!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I have a good pair of winter gloves which cost me 100 quid, Expensive but worth the money
Just been out building a snowman with the kids and wore them whilst doing so, hand are has warm has toast.
I also when riding would put a pair of latex gloves on plus an inner glove before wearing the 100 quidders.
My hands actually start to sweat in cold riding conditions when using this configuration.
Layers tend to be the key i find for overall warmth
Or a peugeot 406 of course

I've been known to wear Marigold gloves inside my bike gloves, back in the bad old days when I rode in cold weather (rally in March anyone?)
They're better than the latex mechanics gloves cos they don't make your hands sweat as much. Also excellent wear for building snowmen!

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.
