Finally won the lotto

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sun Jan 22, 2012 12:06 am

In August last year I was on a course in Coventry, and feeling lucky I bought a ticket for the Coventry City golden goal competition - you know the kind of thing, what minute the goal is scored in etc

So today I won with my selection of January 2012

(and liver dole lost as well Andy - mixed fortunes then !)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No reply from Andy yet, but then again he's probably still out celebrating! :smt030 :smt030 :smt030

What about the players, they'll be the same. :smt030

3 weeks Howard.

We've won 3 of our last 5 league games.

I guess you and Pete must be reflecting on the fact that Leeds have only won 3 in the last 8 or 2 in the last 7 .......

Oh ... so now we're clouding the issue by bringing in ancient history ......

Sorry Andy, so how long since a win before the previous one?

Never mind, as the old song goes "Things can only get better".
Us fans who choose to support our home town teams, rather than the Man Us, Chelseas and Arsenals of this world, always have a lot more lows than highs. Looks like my lot are wavering a bit, having just dropped 4 points in the last 2 home matches, after a really good start to the season.
Our main reason is that we have just lost some really good loan players and are missing them badly.
We all know that you should not build a team on loan players, but for many of us that is the only real way our teams are able to bring players in.
