Redundancy

#1 Post by Falconihlist » Tue Jan 17, 2012 9:44 pm

Next round of redundancies up for the army. Time to bite the bullet and stick my papers in. No more holidays in "hot climates", rainy days sat on the ranges, and no more fixing other peoples f##k ups.

Loads more time to do some (ALOT) of fettling to the Falco. Might actually be able to get to a meet.

I'm guessing it's looking more inviting each time round.

Most definitely. Only thing that would keep me in now is getting back to an armoured unit and not working on bloody tank transporters. Wouldn't mind so much if they still had the Honda bikes, but the army being what they are put a bloody chef in charge of the squadron, and she decided there was no need for escort bikes because she didn't like them.

:smt011 Glad I didnt waste money on a lottery ticket. No redundancy for me. Sprs, LCpls, Staffies and more. No fullscrews though.

Arse. Apparently 10 blokes in my Squadron have been offered it.

I too am in the bracket (for the second year running). I have to admit it's getting more tempting every time i think about it but I won't be asking for it. However, if my name comes up in June, I'm not going to be devastated.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
