So it looks like we are going to get a 1200 half faired Shiver with 135 bhp and, even better, 89 ft lbs of torque. Starting to sound interestin now, especially with the naked version expected to cost £7k. In Aprilia words the faired version will turn them in sports bikes with a slightly less aggressive style than the RSV-R and also be a competitor for the VFR.
All sounds a bit familiar to me, could also call it sports light I suppose, but the 1200 version is 5kg heavier than the Falco.

The only pic I've seen was in MCN of the half-faired jobbie.
Not sure whether that was sourced from Aprilia or some spotty kid at the local art college.
I'm hoping the latter - it does nothing for me (oh Vienna)
[quite appropriate that - given where they make the engines of the proper ones!]
It just looks a bit "budget" with a very upright seating position. Mind you, I guess that should give as a good excuse for us to start to modify .........

If they straightened that downpipe a bit, they'd get anuvver half a horse out of it at least

Maybe they would, but what a bastard of a time you'd have getting the oil filter off
