Bought some italian parts

#1 Post by flatlander » Sun Dec 04, 2011 11:32 pm

Bought these Just waiting for them to arrive will let you know what they are like at some point ... andy don't you have something similar? :smt017

I didm't want to buy them but Squid made me do it :smt010

So... at least the empty box has been shipped and is in the UK somewhere according to the italian postal service... I am really going to have to start having stuff delivered to work and hope she never finds the prepay card :smt073
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I wonder how these will work with the Falco gear and brake pedals or are you converting over to the Mille arrangement and going for a race-shift reverse-action gear-change?

Figured for 40£ I'd give it a go and I have looked at that arrangement for the levers but every time I look at the bike it's just too pretty to mess with :smt001

you painted it black then Geoff?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No the Chinese copy of hammerite that they originally used was discontinued on the grounds that it looked fugly :smt003

I'm rather taken with their eccentric thingies for the gear & brake levers; could make things a bit more comfortable.

like whether the linkages will extend ... the Mille/Tuono don't use linkages.

The ones on my AP rearsets have plenty of length. I bet Griff would be willing to do something if the standard ones come up short. Or dexion...
