Aprilia Street fighter high level cans

#1 Post by flatlander » Tue Nov 22, 2011 10:32 am

Italy's Roadracing brand I believe made the mirrors from this kit and may have made other parts of it though I cannot be sure which.

The exhausts come with hangers numberplate bracket and a falco fighter chip they are allegedly made by arrow. as they are part of the roriginal kit, under some deal with Aprilia so they're not cheap but they do look nice.

I can't tell you much about the noise as they literally are unused. The best I could do are the you tube links:

I would guess for the lot including the chip brackets etc Somewhere around 350 delivered?

I have no idea how they would run on a standard chip even if you cut the wire to release the secondary mapping but if you use the chip that comes with them they would undountedly be better and are supposed to change performance characteristics.

The ECU chip is claimed to boost power, especially in the midrange. It was tested and confirmed on some sites early on by dyno testing the Streetfighter against a standard Falco.

I would recommend keeping your original cans for MOT purposes. The high levels have NOT been stamped "not for road use" anywhere I can see but it may be better to use originals if you get a finicky tester or to get some DB killers around 25-35 quid a pair I think.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
