BIKE ADVICE?

#1 Post by topgooser » Mon Mar 26, 2007 6:41 pm

Hello all,

I am currently without bike - but fancy getting one before good weather gets too unbearable.

Needs?

£1500 or under - cheap to insure.
Comfortable 2 up
Big Bike - 750 up
Pretty nippy would be nice too

Go !

Lo TG, welcome back.

I'm getting a Falco tomorrow (long story)

Shame it wasn't last September, you could have had the bird for that and a box full of spares

if either of you are bored you could try and find me either of the following for under £1500

Yam XJR
CB1000
Bandit 1200
Fireblade
ZX9
Thunderace
ZZR1100
Big Triumph

'97 tl1000 converted to streetfighter on a Q £1100
'87 vfr750 bog standard, owned by an old fuddyduddy £1100
'88 gsx1100 fighter , matt black, wider swingarm , ducati seat etc £1100

Infact theres only my bike in there worth more than £1100

None are mine but all in my garage taking up space :smt001

Ever thought about a CBR1000F?
It's a lot better built than a ZZR1100 or a big Triumph, and you'll not get a good Fireblade, ZX9 or Thunderace for under £1,500, but you would get a good CBR Thou.
