hello from a new SL thou owner.
Hello lads and lasses.
Just got me a nice blue one (I like the blue one). Bog standard.
2002 39,000 for 1600 quid,
though the starter sprag went the very next day, add £450,
new battery 60 quid, back tyre + pads fitting, 200 quid.
bargain!
though at least the one who had it before hadn't worked out how to
change the speedo to miles, so it's only done 22,000 after all.
So I had my first proper blast yesterday. I have some real regrets.
I should have bought one 5 years ago.
Sidestand agreed, but I can't say I find the rear shock is that bad.
it handles lovely.
I need to sort out the sound though. It sounds like a bloody honda.

blinkey, my card is greased and ready!
first definitely, make it sound like a v-twin.
oh no, first - new oil cooler pipes, they are a bit cracked and perished.
anyone know where to get'em?
does anyone want to buy a first-edition (that's P1), unrestored zx7r?
Never been polished.
(I watch Antiques roadshow, they say it reduces the value)

Pirtek is a pipe supplier of many different types, they are quite good. Flatlander has some High level cans for sale that are brand new still in the wrapperbigearsbilly wrote:blinkey, my card is greased and ready!

Oooh - If I'd been sure this was possible I'd have had a set of those cans when I was looking at them some years back ..... and more recently I'd have bought the Falco Fighter pillion pegs.flatlander wrote:and now I have just realised that they may fit under the falco luggage rack
