I'm after recommendations for bodywork repairs in the south east, preferably surrey/sussex area but I can travel for good work. My owned-for-less-than-a-week Falco was knocked off the stand by my uncle, insurance picked it up, assessed the damage and my uncle accepted liability (obviously).
I got a letter from his insurers today stating that they would cover the costs of any repairs etc. which I took as a fairly strong suggestion that they had agreed liability and so on. I called BLD who are handling my claim and they told me that the Falco had been written off as Cat D by the assessor as the bodywork (scuffs to tailpiece and fairing), bent sidestand lever and exhaust (scuffed LH can along the length) would be uneconomical (not to mention difficult) to replace. The verdict: bike valued at £2500, salvage £375 so I get the bike and a cheque for £2125 but no repairs. Still a result as I only paid £1750 for the Falco and that included a bubseywoo stand (looks like it might be an earlier one) and loads of other odds and sods.
So aside from a nice pair of Titanium Oval Fuel mini cans and can sliders and paying for the rebuild of the Ohlins I have to go on I will have a little cash to spend on getting the bodywork fixed. There were already a couple of small scuffs on the other side, none of the scuffs are more than an inch long but some do go through to the black plastics of the fairing. I want to get them sanded/filled and painted but have no idea who to go to. Obviously I don't want to spend mega bucks but don't mind spending a couple of hundred to get it looking right.
Bodywork repairs - Any recommendations?

Not in your preferred area but here's one place that I've heard good things about.
