asking about the dimensions of a standard exhaust here.....

(sorry I cannot help LOL)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I've got one. The only problem is I'll bet I am farther away from my bike than Tonyunn is.

I have standard pipes fitted ready for dyno run. Is it the link pipe diameter or the silencer? Let me know and i will put verniers on and find out :smt002

In case anyone ever needs it the diameter of the original cans is fifteen and a half inches.

I don't think so!

Do you mean centimetres rather than inches or do you mean the circumference rather than diameter?

Circumference, don't know why I kept saying diameter.

I needed the size to sort out some exhaust protectors, turns out the 4.5 size fits the standard cans and probably all aftermarket ones as well.

I was speaking direct to R&G trying to sort this out and was about to order what I needed direct when I came across Demon tweeks shop on e-bay, £12 cheaper and ordered 2:30 Thursday arrived 10:45 Friday.

And the result.
