which is fastest

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Sat Nov 12, 2011 10:58 pm

With the new members that have recently aquired, and the debate about fast colour scemes. we need to know which is fastest. I know both my bikes are quick, IE the oasis and mercury but it would seem mine are slow in comparison to the BLACK CROW one and the OLYMPIC BRONZE bike. I find that we have conflicting interest and need to sort this once and for all .SO lets run a poll to see :smt014

I think we can (almost) unanimously agree that the yella ones aren't. :smt020

Who cares - they all have the potential to be much too fast for the road so probably the things that count are the way they are set up (rideability, handling etc) and the "quality" of the rider.

.... and all that being said, what really matters is "did you enjoy the ride?"

perhaps a list of the faster colours would help folk

Olympic Bronze/Black
red

thats it

and i would agree that the ride is the important thing - but style counts :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Pink would be fastest if they did one.
It would have to be to get away from the p*ss takers.

As it is I think the rust coloured ones take the honours for the very same reason. :smt002
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

No no no. The bronze ones are intentionally ridden slowly so everyone can bask in our magnificence. Bit like Ducatis.

I think Kerry currently has both extremes of fast and slow. Faster metal colour, slower blue (about walking speed at the moment unfortunately)
Black is fastest!

Am I the only one who doesn't get the 'my colour's fastest' thing...? I know it's just an excuse for a spot of banter, but the overriding limiter on Falcos of all colours is the rider. Our bikes (of any colour) are a lot faster than we are...
