Just out of interest is the oil tank on a falco made from steel :smt017, can it be welded?

roflmao

i know what you are thinking and no - i believe it is a pita to cut and shut

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

It's an aluminium casting ..... I still have spare ones ...... :smt002

The Mille one is mild steel
The Mille-R one is stainless steel

Yes, it's far too light to be steel. Not magnetic either (I tried)... Tank is going into Manhattan (the dealers, not the place in USA) tomorrow.
