For Sale Aprilia Falco 2004
Only 13,261 miles, MOT till April 2012. Currently SORN’ed,
Datatool system 3 alarm & immobiliser (complete with two keyfobs)

Loads of paperwork & receipts including a full Aprilia Service History to 9,000 miles. I bought the bike in Nov 2010 with 12,300 miles showing and gave the bike a full service as she had been stood for a while. All the fluids were changed, new oil & filter fitted, all the bearings, brakes etc… checked, cleaned and renewed where needed.

The starting issues I was having with the bike have now been eliminated by the purchase of a new battery charger as it turns out my Optimate was knackered. The only issue with the bike is the neutral light stays on (you can unplug it of course) it doesn’t bother me, and it’s probably a trapped wire somewhere I’m guessing??? But this is the ONLY issue with the bike. She runs superbly, pulls like a train and handles great. She’s very very comfortable as well, the top yoke conversion works well for me (I’m 5’10”) and up and beyond motorway speeds I haven’t had any issues although the wind pressure at speed is much increased of course, for most A & B road use it’s a superb riding position

That said I’ve managed the grand total of just over 900 miles this year on her………………..hence the reason for sale, I’m lucky to have 2 bikes but I still tend to use the GS, as we tour these days rather than the quick blasts out we used to do. SWMBO will not ride on the back of the Falco either as she much prefers the higher seating position of the GS

So she’s in great condition as can be seen in the pics. Extras / Modifications inc:-

RSV Mille Shock with correct RSV Mille dog bone & linkages
RSV Mille Steering Damper
Genuine Aprilia SL Carbon Race Cans and SL Chip
Gold Wheels (obvious I know)
Hook Air Kit
Scottoiler
Pirelli Diablo Corsa’s (done just 900 miles)
15-42 gearing
R&G Upper crash Bungs
R&G Hugger
CMC Top Yoke conversion, with Renthal Bars, HEL Hoses and Futura throttle cables
Pazzo (look alike /copy) Levers
Bar end mirrors
Evolution tail tidy
RSV4 Indicators
Anodised Gold Fluid Covers
Radiator Protectors (Gold)
Oil Cooler protector (Stainless Steel)
Seat Hump
Also included in the sale is everything seen in the accompanying picture

This includes:-

Original Fairing, Original Fairing Frame, Original brake & clutch hoses, clip ons, top yoke, throttle cables and mirrors. THe Original exhausts, number plate carrier, original shock & linkages, original air box, indicators, rear seat etc… etc… In fact everything you need to put the bike back to completely standard condition.

Also included is a mille swinging arm (no dent either, although it needs a good polish, chain is good however) 4 sprockets (3 rear, 1 front) 4 new oil filters (3 short, 1 long) some spare linkages and dog bones, spare spindles, spare plastics, new brake pads (front) and other various bits & bats I’ve picked up over the years

So the price………………………………..£3,000 no offers please. I think this is a very competitive price bearing in mind the extras, modifications and spares included

If interested pLease PM me with your e-mail address and I'll happily send lots more pics

This is an offer I’m making just on the forum as I think there are a few member’s out there who will appreciate the extras and modifications I’ve done. However if no-one’s interested I’ll put the bike back to standard over the winter and sell her in the spring.

Please don’t ask me to split anything at this stage. If she doesn’t sell then I’ll still give ARS member’s first bite at any of the extras I remove before offering them for general sale on fleabay / Gumtree etc.

Please pm me if interested. Bike is located in West Yorkshire 2 mins from Jnt 40 M1

And it's the best colour scheme! If it goes back to standard I'll have first dubs on bits ... Just getting out there lol
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.

Should be ok then from what you went through recently either you'll fight like a girl or be too wary ... In fact can we have that before you are back on top form or can we use water pistols and pillows?

...have already popped the question. If it's still not sold by the time I have the sponduliks together, and Rich is willing, you vultures can fight for the leftovers (I only want the standard shock, indicators, 'zorsts, and number plate carrier - we all know that the other parts would be wasted on me :smt016 )

Looks a bargain at that price Rich.
It's a great looking bike.
But still a shame that a second Falco is now leaving the fold.
Good luck with the sale, now or next spring!

If anyone is thinking about this bike - my advice is sell your Granny (or any other relative of value) to buy it. I've seen it in the metal and everything is done to Rich's meticulous high standard. Whish I had the dosh.

(Rich, can you make the cheque out to 'Cash' please :smt003 )

.... so where IS Gio ? ....... The normal course of events is that he will buy this and after a while it will find its way on to Will.

Without Gio, the chain is broken and catastrophe may ensue :smt009

Rich - I do hope you find a good home for it and get what you deserve for it (money-wise .... as well as a burning )

Thanks for the positive endorsments chaps, much appreciated. Dave the cheques in the post!! :smt003

I'm pleased to say I think a deal may have been struck with an fellow ARS member, but I'm sure they will be happy to announce it themselves when it goes through

I'll be sorry to see her go but the practicalities of running 2 bikes haven't worked out for me I'm afraid. Nether the less I'll be sticking around of course, you don't get rid of me that easily :smt005
