This must be a record already, so I'll have to stop it here.
The longest time ever between posts in the Falco section, last post was Monday, where is everybody?

I thought my browser was playing up!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I think everyone's settling into their autumnal depression. Or perhaps enjoying a late break to warmer climes to enjoy the last of the summer sun?
Every year I hate the onset of Autumn and Winter even more...

I off for warmer climes early this Sunday morning.
Off to Kefalonia for a couple of weeks, first time I've been there.

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

went there once it was closed LOL
actually once I settled into the idea that it was a good thing to relax and read a book etc really quite enjoyed it... and once I accepted that the Queen Vic and its owner weren't really from Eastenders no matter how much she looked like Babs windor then I enjoyed the food there ttoo have fun

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Yes, I'm off for the last time this year to France on October 1st; ironically it seems we're going to be getting a spot of Indian Summer this week.

Just befrore I went away I went last minute holiday shopping to Meadowhall and came back with a .......................................................................
netbook!
Well not exactly I nearly bought one, but got one much cheaper later on the old tinternet,
Got a really nice Samsung for £167 quid, so here I am on a gorgeous island in what is probably the best villa I have ever stayed in (and it's got wi fi, so I am here on line boring everybody).
The villa is at Skala at the bottom end of Kefalonia, up on a hill about 5 mins drive from the town. From this elevated site it has 180 degree sea views, down over Skala to the sea then at either side. It has been made to look lmore ike an old farm house split on three levels down the slope. Free air con in all rooms an heated pool just in case it gets colder, perfect 30 ndegrees with a lihgt breeze at the moment.
The island of Zante (Zakynthos ?) is out along the horizon.
There is an infinity pool with a little tiled half round seat so you can sit in the pool to about shoulder height and look out over the pool as the view joins perfectly with the sea looking towards Zante. Then there are two water jets masaging your back, with an ice cold bottle of Mythos lager on the pool side, (I added the latter).
The perfect place just to relax and totally switch off and at a price lower than lots of people pay for a half decent hotel if you come at this time of year.
Am I missing the bike, what bloody bike!
Never been so relaxed and peaceful.
Then again only got year yesterday.
Hardly anybody around just two or three other villas but not overlooked by anybody, and very quiet.
Off down into town soon for a nice meal, first one last night was really good and well cheaper than recent hols in Spain and Cyprus.
Think I am going to enjoy it here.
Hope you are also enjoying the nice weather back home.
