The Falco was originally priced it not much below the Mille ,and nobody bought it, as everybosy wanted to ride what they raced.
I think it was something like £8k, maybe more, to start with then they gradually lowered the price into the £7k down to £6.5k range.
Then finally sold the last ones off for £5995, but some dealers came even lower as Paddy says.
However, as the price came down they sold much better and it got confused at times as people like DK brought lots of EU models in and sold them a bit cheaper than other dealers with normal stock, often with EU headlights, (Mine still has one!).
Others also got brought in from the US.

Yes i think they were originally around £8k, then fell to about £6.5k - the later ones being sold for about £4995 (mine being one of them).
Somewhere or other I have seen a bit of a history on the prices. If I can find it I'll reply again with the info.

According to THIS SITE £8000 ten years ago, is now worth £10,240.
So you could get a ZZR1400 with a bit of haggling, or an 848 Evo Dark, or a 1200GS-A with a few extras.
