http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-xvs-650-bo ... 4aacd03508

Mate from work is trying to sell this to fund his T4 Van.

Shit hot bike, under 3 grand. Ebay runs out this weekend but details are below for anyone interested
Hi and welcome to the auction of my bobber xv 650 known as Grace!!. I have only owned this bike for about three months and I literaly tossed a coin to see which one was to go this or my sp1. As you can see it looks nothing like a xvs650 listed below are the mods to it:

XVS 1100 Tank

electronic speedo

rear fender mod

seat mod (exile cycles style seat ) £££££

White walled tyres

custom exhuast with baffles

longer bars

number plate bracket

front light

Abletronic imobiliser with certificate data tagged

thunder air fillter system

I am sure there is other stuff but to really apreciate it you need to see it, It has old MOT'S and bills. All the paperwork and spare keys and alarm fob, data tag paper work and alarm certs to. I have just changed the oil and filter the spark plugs cleaned and the carbs stripped and cleaned with new needle jet kits fitted. I have done over a 1000 miles since buying this bike and love riding it. When you pull up at a shop etc people stare at you and the bike its a good feeling and i will miss the bike no end.

I have advertised the bike else where so it can be removed before end of auction. I am around all week and weekend so viewing are welcome. A free brew will be included. I will chuck in a free helmet and facemask with the sale if needed. As i said before I dont want to really get rid off the bike as I know i will regret it as soon as its gone but I am after a t4 transporter camper van and this is helping towards the funding.

Any questions please feel free to ring me or email me and i will try and answer them for you. I have a video on my phone but cant figure out how to put it the net so I can send you a clip of it via phone if needed.

Any how go on arrive at the bulldog in style on grace and get buying cheers Dan 07866772938

THOSE 85 watchers good news the price has dropped to £2900 but thats as low as its going to go.

Seems a lot of dosh for an older non-standard bike. Still, good luck to him.

:smt002 Thats one way of describing a custom..

I agree though, You could buy a lot of bike/s with 3 grand, but if youre into chops... I guess 'if it's your bag' then youll pay for it. I sold my old MZ racebike for almost a grand. It's 'true value' would be 150 quid. :smt012

Personally the only Yamahas I like have RD on the sidepanels..

I know - it's just that most of the folks I know who are into chops like to build them! They would say it's just not the same if you buy one readymade - and obviously your mate agrees cos he selling it after 3 months!

I think he's just impulsive and has too many toys.. he is into triathletics, hence wanting a van so he can tip up in that rather than with a tent. Agree about building one rather than buying one. :smt045
