Removing forks

#1 Post by dyzio » Sat Jul 02, 2011 11:18 am

Need to take the forks off the bike, never done this before...

Got a headstock stand sorted, so what now?
- take the callipers off,
- wheel,
- loosen yokes and clipons
- pull the forks out

Sounds too easy or did I miss something :smt017

I would be tempted to get a ratchet strap around the headstock and support it off a joist - just in case....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
