#1 Post by furygan man » Thu Jun 30, 2011 3:30 pm

Anywhere on the 'high street' you can get these or is it mail order only, just been into Halfords and no joy?!!...and what the size i need to fit the 'yellow spring' shock nut?

One more thing, i have a nut that keeps working it's way loose on my mirror- did i read on here something you can spray on or add to the thread to stop this??

Cheers

BnQ.. you'll be lucky to find anything you need in that place mate. You'll be better off heading down to your local motor factors or engineering supply shop.

As for the c-spanner.. I'll make you one. If it's the same as Ohlins shocks, I already have the CAD as I made Mr Rider a couple about a year ago. :smt001
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Re 'A' ; plenty of suppliers on ebay/Amazon - where I got my last lot, being some distance from nearest engineers' merchants

I tend to buy my loctite from ebay as the car parts shops tend to charge the earth (as do some ebay suppliers)

Can do this for £9.50 for a 10ml bottle (takes ages to use up). How does that compare to what's on e-bay?
