#1 Post by flatlander » Thu Jun 23, 2011 12:19 am

:smt006
Just a quick note to say Hi just joined the site just acquired a Falco wish I had found the site first though and about a month ago would have been great ... have looked through the ads so that would explain why :smt005

well I'll shoot off now but all freebies welcome be it advice or goodies ;)

Oh and for the last 10 years been on Bandits and I may tell you later how I ended up with a Falco it was an accident honest
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Hi and Welcome

Shame I've dropped in the bar this morning - better have a large coffee.

Can I come back later for a beer :smt003

swap?

#3 Post by flatlander » Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:49 am

Hi right now I would gladly swap a beer for a coffee but a big strong posh coffee :)
Right I am going to go for a nosey round now that I have done the honourable thing
BTW many years on Bandit's after a disaster of a Triumph so a period of getting used to the Falco may be required

Welcome - I am on annual leave so large whiskey please

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Here's one from my old gran.

Never trust a man without a beard. He's pretending not to have anything to hide.

Since my old mum told me never to trust a man with a beard, the logical conclusion is that I've been quite right all these years!

Welcome FL - even if you are male! :smt006

Surely a lack of facial hair is just an attempt to look like a woman .... other than a bearded lady of course ...........

I think it is the lack of ability

#14 Post by flatlander » Fri Jun 24, 2011 5:10 pm

to grow facial hair that puts you in that category anything else after a certain age is just kidding yourself ... unless its a moustache I know a few girls who have those :smt003

and I was also referring to being flatlined as opposed to the flatlands I currently inhabit
