Had a nice ride planned for today as I had an all day pass.
The plan was to ride down to a mates in Wales, watch the Moto GP, and then go for a spin on some of the finest roads this side of anywhere.
Rang him up this morning to let him know I was ready for the off even though there was a bit of drizzle hereabouts. He said, 'Bring a Canoe. It's the only way we're going anywhere round here today.'
So I've sat and watched the races, eaten crisps and biscuits all day, and been very bored.
And it's just stopped raining.

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

You wanna know where the rain went?
I should be celebrating really I spose.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Even the racing was boring cos of the rain. Not as bad as the F! though.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

My one pass out in weeks and I end up sat in front of the telly and the bike sits all alone and sulking in the garage.
And no doubt it'll be sunny and dry tomorrow because I'm working.
As I thought.

11.00 a.m. - 9 degrees C and drizzle here. Mid-day, 11 degrees and steady rain. Now, 14 degrees and drizzle.
It's all, as my then 3-year-old daughter once said, a big fat pig poo

Wimps the lot of you!
Stuck the outboard on the Falco and set sail for Silverstone.
May be some decades before my oilskins and souwester dry out .....
It's still a crap track to spectate but the racing was pretty good - Bradley and Scott in the Moto2, The MotoGP was good (would have been better if Simoncelli and Lorenzo had stayed on) - major shame "Coventry's Cal Crutchlow" couldn't race - but even so, it was a pretty good race.

Well it's been glorious in Morecambe, Fleetwood, Poulton, Blackpool, and Lytham today. All the places I had deliveries to.
And the jelly and cake was nice too.

I was valeting bikes in Swindon from 10:00-20:00 yesterday in the pissing down rain and 11* temp. As soon as I'd dried a bike off, the wind would chuck a load of rain all over it again even under the gazebo and van's awning. Froze my arse off as I was wearing shorts 'because it's June' and got soaked to the skin. Got fed pizza for dinner, endless cups of tea and a received good tip at the end of it though, so could be worse.

Swindon sensibly stayed in, so didn't get to pay homage to them.
