Checking Generator and Regulator/Rectifier...

#1 Post by GregD-UK » Mon Jun 06, 2011 8:08 pm

Hi all,

What Ohms should I be getting off my generator gentleman? Also, my R/R is there a static ohms test for that as well?

Cheers.

P.S. Getting a new R/R from the US of A and attached Metripack connectors from a man that can :smt002 $110 all in, not bad, seeing as an OEM is well over £300!!!! This will eliminate the crappy OEM connectors and hopefully increase the charge to the battery....
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

Hi all,

OK DR, where is the workshop manual? Also, the crappy starter has even been changed to the Yamaha one, but, still not great :smt017 Anyone found an even better starter :smt024

I feel like spending what pennies I've got on sorting this out, once and for all :smt020

Cheers.
