To tall for falco

#1 Post by millescot » Sat May 21, 2011 8:55 pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Guy's new to the site and thinking about buying a Falco but just wondering if the bike is to small I am 6ft 1 and around 15stone but pics I see off the bike with riders on then it seems to make the bike look small is this the case.

I would be interested to hear you thoughts.

Thanks millescot

Hi, welcome to the forum. I used to have a Falco but blade mounted now and only 5'10" so can't help you. I'm sure someone will be along soon but I think most of them are currently soaked to the skin in a field somewhere in mid wales :smt005
I know Gio had a falco for awhile before he binned it and apparently he's 6'13"

Hi and welcome.....I'm the same size mate ( but a stone lighter due to nagging women at home !! ) and have to say the bikes great for size by the time you 've fitted a new rear shock and jacked up the back of the bike to Max and then drop the front two rings it will fit perfectly ....... I use mine for short blasts to long rides and it's comfortable enough for all .....

I had an RSVR and a GSXR before hand both big bikes and the FALCO is as good as any of them for fit .........although maybe not as quick !! :smt003
deepest southwest falco flyer ..............

Black and Bronze , c'mon you know they're the fastest :-)

I'm 6'3" and bought mine in Jan. I have put the clipons above the top yoke (search forum on how to), just fitted a double bubble screen, mille shock purchased ready to fit. I have ridden over 1000 miles on the bike - nice and comfy on long trips. Due to my long legs and advancing years (ahem...) next mod wil be to fit Buell footpegs which lower them by 1". You won't be disappointed. :smt001

Hi and welcome.

I'm 6'4 and about 17st and had no probs.

I did however put 35mm jack up triangles on (the blue shock) and made a noticeable and favourable difference to the ride height. You may not need that though.

I have taken the bike up to Ullapool twice and was brilliant.

You should be OK amigo :smt028

Not sure you're big enough for a falco millescot. :smt002
