Right I still have this (but its here in NZ!) but the one fitted to my bike (which is black) has developed a nice crack at one of the mounting points.

I've looked on eBay and trademe (NZ version!) and no luck...

...whats the best way to prepare and paint this black? What type of paint, and do I need any laquer etc. on top?

I'm crap at paiting things... but shouldbe able to do this!

This stuff is brilliant for preparing plastic surfaces for painting (unless you are painting with a 2 pack or similar ... the data sheet says what it can be used with)

cheers for that... will see if i can get something similar here

i'll probably go for the sanding, priming and painting route... and i'll probably have to do the top half to ensure a good match!

unless someone has a spare under side in black they want to sell?!

Another :smt023 for ESP.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.
