Hi, no doubt every man and his dog will have a fair opinion on this. With the all the new multi-compound tyres on the market which ones to choose?.
Personally I want a tyre which will last without squaring off and a decent amount of wet and dry grip. I don't ride on track but I do enjoy a bit of spirited riding from time to time.
Thanks.
Best longevity tyres for Falco.

Well
I have now clocked up 10 000 miles on the falco and have had conti road attacks - the originals not the new dual compounds, on the bike
I got 6000 miles off the original rear and 4000 off the second rear. The front is now ready for a change
I rate them - but will switch to the conti road attack 2's now....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Did about 20k on Contis including a set or two of the sport option. I've been running the Michelin 2CT Road for another 20K. Both good but I think the
2CT matches the Conti Sport for grip and maybe gives a little better mileage than the Conti Road. Roughly 4- 5k rear 8 -10k depending on how hard you drive or how close to the legal wear limit you are comfortable with.
I'm thinking about the Michelin Pure for my next set.

Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today
Debz has racked up 16,000 miles on her Avon Storm Ultra 2's!!! All be it on her Fazer, but still, 16,000 fecking miles!! And they're only just starting to sqaure off, there's more tyre to go yet
She says the grip is as good in the wet as it is on the dry and they haven't 'gone off' as they've worn like the 020's she used to use did.

Can't comment on too many tyre types, but this is my experience over nearly 7 years and 25K miles with the Falco.
Initially ran Avon Azaro AV50 Sports
Front lasted - 5000 miles Rear - just got 2000 miles
Bridgestones ever since.
BT014 Front - 7515 miles
BT014 Front - 6349 miles
BT020 Rear - 4236 miles
BT021 Rear - 4891 miles
BT021 Rear - 5321 miles
BT021 Rear - 5070 miles
Last 014 front still on, just fitted a BT023 rear, with a new BT023 front to follow shortly, not too happy with the current BT021 front which wore unevenly.
All of them have handled well and warmed up pretty quick in winter, so have been grippy enough for me.
