Just a quick update so people know what's going on!

Firstly, a big welcome to all our new members, both Aprilia and other marques, which is good! We've got 2 Sites in 1 and it's nice when we get a share of new members on the RS side! :smt005 I hope you find the Site fun, informative and enjoyable. We don't stand on ceremony so just crack on and get stuck in! It's good to have you aboard!
Make sure you have a good look round, there's plenty of hidden things as you browse thru all the forum categories. Webmail, Member's map, Info on how to upload, a huge links area as well as archives for both the Aprilia side and the RS side of life.

Updates..

Discounts:

The Aussie site isnt live yet http://www.gpsimports.com.au/ so no news on the Discount for there yet. Similarly waiting for MCE to return my flippin' emails.. i'll chase up this week when i get a chance. A few other things in the pipeline so keep an eye out. Aprilia riders may benefit shortly once one of the Admins has chatted with some people.

Site:

Looking into the Spam control, Mobile access and possibly a site upgrade. This is an active 'looking' rather than something on a list. Conversations have been had and a plan is forming. We'll let you know in advance of things happening.. It should all be quite good though.

Site hosting:

I mentioned the other week that payment towards the server is due, if youve got some spare funds that are burning a hole, all donations would be greatly received. For those who have donated, it's very very much appreciated. Here's the link to the thread on the subject:

https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.ph ... &start=105 Link to the donation page: https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.php?t=5197

Other Stuff:

No poll run yet on merchandise, thats on a list of things to look into still.
We (well Alad and I) got our way into a slight involvement in the IBiker app, we've both done a review, submitted a few routes and pushed up a few alterations that might be worth considering. It gave us a bit of attention as a Site on both Facebook and Twitter, which can't be a bad thing! Other things may turn up from time to time as and when we can get people involved.

That's it at the mo, with things in the pipeline, it's easier to keep a log posted up every so often and with the choice of title, it makes it easier to remember where to look back for reference

It's great to see a few new members - definitely helps to keep things 'live'.
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

i believe he has a starring part in the next sheila's wheels gig....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Just an update for our downunder members..

Received an email this morning:
Dear Tim,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Ok, the standard club discount is 10% and that part of the website is not setup yet - We are still loading up the last 4500 parts with 1800 already on. So please bare with us.

I would recommend that your members join now for a 15% join up discount, this will end in two months..

In one month when the club section is set up, we can convert all your members into that area for the standard club discount.

Hope this helps to get you guys started.

Regards,

Mark

I will be updating the discounts area shortly once ive had further discussions and reciprocated the helpfulness with links, etc, however for now, I hope you find it of use!
