Despite appearances, we're keeping it simple!
The old forum (which you can still visit as 'read-only') suffered some, because ironically the modifications we implemented to improve functionality - precluded us from applying software updates which ... erm ... improved functionality.
This new version is lean and mean, which means it will be easier for us to update in the future.
Visit your profile, and find a colour scheme which pleases you most.

I love the purple but haven't put that in the poll as the only one I can read is the Sub silver!

I might as well get this question out of the way sooner rather than later....
Hammy, what is the situation with funding the "new" Ridersite? Are voluntary subscriptions being requested or have server changes resulted in the site being self-financing? (as I'm pretty sure Jake eluded to a while ago in a post)

I like this Orange on Black, but I'll try the remainder (excluding the Sub one, which was terrible for me).
Nice work Hammy.
BTW after people have posted I see a little arrow in the top left hand corner of the post, whats that for?
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

In a long thread, you can be reading thru reams of sh*te.. you may have gone back to the 3rd page of...say 50 pages..The little button facilitates you to go directly to the latest post to that thread without having to go scrolling and hunting for the top or bottom of the screen
I believe

Also, the timing out, which many fast browsing members will no doubt suffer, (like me) with the Site providing an error message, is part of the settings for anti-spam, designed to trip up spammers and give the site admins a chance to catch up to them! (The capture time for providing an error message is approximately 5 seconds)
I did have a better explanation for it, but I closed the phpBB forum window and cant find the post there now!

In fact, I lied like a cheap Naafi watch. That little button.. It drops you to the next post, not the latest post!
