Gio - Welcome

#1 Post by D-Rider » Sat Mar 17, 2007 1:13 am

Gio, now that you're joining the massed (?) ranks of Falco riders, I thought it time to welcome you.

Rich has made a great job of that bike so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I'm sure you'll also make your mark on it ....... maybe something like this:

You're getting THIS Falco? THE Falco? The best looking Falco I've ever seen? I hate you. So much. And I wanted to do a trackday with you :smt011

:smt003

BTW remember to change those wheels to something more 'manly' :smt002

Oh dear, what have you done to it :smt018

I'm not sure that it'll have any "extras" plastered on it as it looks the best bike on Ars :smt003 and I wouldn't want to make it look so common. :smt002

There , there Sebastian, I'm sure you don't really, as I imagine you'd have bought it if it was true.

Whats wrong with those wheels?

Surely blue and pink is acceptable in this modern pc world where everyone is supposed to be in touch with their feminine side :smt002 :smt005

For my part, I'd like to say how pleased I am that the bike is going to someone I feel will both enjoy and appreciate her. :smt003

I really like the "food" version Andy, the missus has just commented that at my size she thought I was already sponsored by "Just Relish" how misguided was I just sticking with the "Silver" theme? :smt017

Chances are I'll be staying with Aprilia as the Tuono will probably be my next choice (although I've just been offered a beautiful Gixer 1000 K5 with 162bhp at the rear wheel!!!!!) so hopefully you guys will still accept me and my inane ramblings on here. :smt014

I'm really sad to be parting with her though :smt010 From day one I realised what a superb machine Aprilia had made and now she's been "adapted" to my taste (and obviously Gio's) I reckon she's about as good as I can do. But it's time to move on and try something new(ish)

Hope you enjoy riding her as much as I have mate, take good care of her!

Wow.. talk about developments. I've missed out on the gossip here. So Gio's tractor (sorry) was stolen and now F9's bird is to become Gio's bird? Quite a difference in riding style and feel of the two machines Gio?

Gio, you're a lucky fella, she really is a bute. Wrong colour of course and those pink rim stripes :smt078 but at least they're easily removed!! Good job well done on both sides and good luck with the Tuono Rich, again a mega Aprilia in (mostly) daft colours.......there seems to be a consistent theme here, although I could just be imagining things, it might be the Yorkshire air (or is it Tea?). Hope you're still gonna hang around though fella, be a big shame to lose the only other football fanatic on here :smt023 (D-R, Coventry doesn't count :smt002)

Too damned right we'll still accept you on here Rich - Aprila Mods don't duck out that easily .... now you make sure it's the Tuono you get and you'll still be fully qualified as a true Aprilia Moderator.

Gio, you'll also have the chance to be the first to introduce her to RAIN .... few of us (if any) enjoy the wet weather but I think Rich was scared he'd desolve or something!
Just keep her looking nice .... that's the inspiration for the current round of modifications I'm making to mine .... not identical but 'inspired by'.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I only do rain if I'm out in it, I'd never get on a bike for a ride when its raining, unless I'm away from home and have to return :smt103

I'm not alone then! :smt006 Where is the fun to ride a bike in the rain? Especially in the winter, with all that corrosive crap everywhere? :smt012
