Joining the Fettlers n Tweakers

#1 Post by fastrider » Fri Mar 16, 2007 11:12 pm

Hi all,

Well, looks like I am joining the ranks of the fettlers :smt002 and tweakers around here. Just bought a set of Mille-R Ohlins forks with top/bottom yokes and clip-ons, :smt007 2nd hand of course.

So I need to find somewhere local(ish) that can freshen up the internals and fluids (if its required of course). Now on the lookout for an Ohlins Rear and just possibly thinking of the swinger to boot (old model preferably). :smt003

Thanks Sebestian,

That should do nicely, price seems good too. May just give the guy a bell and wee what's what. Have also fired of an e-mail to K-tech in Leicestershire to see if they do re-con rears and at what cost.

After looking at some of the pics posted on here of modified Falco's, I am now going to try and source a Mille swinger (pre 04) if the price and quality is right. :smt003 had the bike 5 yrs now and its behaved impeccably in all weathers. The suspension is now shot, and fork housings have stone chip damage :smt013 , thus the reason for getting the Ohlins kit.

anyways, cheers for the links - nice one.

Welcome, nice to have you aboard.......very smart first purchase and venture into the world of Falco tweaking and tinkering. I'm very jealous. :smt023
