Little bimble in Norfolk this Sunday

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Thu Apr 07, 2011 7:48 pm

Had a quick chat with PhilH - talking about meeting at seastar at 1130 for a little trundle out to whymondham

Nothing heavy just a quiet ride to meet etc

I have already mentioned it to Craig - GRFalco want to come along?

I realise that 4 falcos together will scream to the rain gods but....

Fatty will not make it as her leathers do not fit.... Apparently because her arse has got fat...

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'll listen out for earthquake reports on Radio Norfolk. :smt003
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I'll talk to her indoor! I'm supposed to be painting the kitchen ceiling this weekend. It's got fresh plaster so is gonna need a few thin coats first. :smt009

Aren't you supposed to leave plaster for ages to dry out properly before painting?

...... seems a perfect story to put it off a bit longer ............

slam on a quick coat of ? TPA and emulsion - needs a week to go off love....

and would be very good to get 4 out of 5 local falco's - from ridersite together :)

PhilH knows the roads around there - apparently we can play near Lotus.....

It has been on for about a week, hence the need for 'her' to get it painted!!!

I have to say though it would be a good opportunity to get a Four Falco photo (say that when you're pissed!) taken for prosperity (and maybe a mag!)

<--------------- Oooh look a falco parked outside SeaStar!

that shows four falco's together - and it did not rain!

Some entertaining back roads for a little play then a stop and coffee - and nice to put faces to names :)

so - thanks to PhilH, FalcoFreddie and GRFalco for the company :)

Scary thing is - we had one red, one black, one silver and one bronze - all with varying amounts of fettling done. The red is standard.... but I have started to do a credit check for the owner to help him get rid of those bloody awful original exhausts....

Thanks for organising this Pete - nice to see 3 other very different Falcos and, as you say, put names and faces to forum identities!

We managed to get some air into GRFalco's tyres - they must have been running at single figure psi beforehand, which must have made handling interesting :smt003 !

On the strength of thta success, I treated Freddie to some much needed oil as an interim before service hopefully this week - was it needed - think last scene of "Ice Cold in Alex" for the way it was gratefully gulped down! Not sure why oil had got so low - never had fall off in oil levels in previous falconeering so will keep an eye on it after the service.

Hope to see you all again when time allows.....

Cheers for the Bimble guys. It's amazing the difference a little bit of air makes!

Hopefully we can do it again soon. Although I think I've had my quota of rides this year now!!!!

Ceiling looks good though :smt003

No worries

and glad it had a slurp of oil..... I have been caught by a similar event soem time ago - was certain the oil was fine then did a check and.... yep it was low

perhaps during the summer months we can see if we can do more impromptu meets like this?

theoretically we could have had another two falcos with us on sunday - Hanna's and Craigs.....

(If we ever managed to get all six together I would suggest Noah would start rebuilding that boat of his....)
