Who on ARS uses an android phone?

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:26 am

and use the android market to get apps?

Im currently investigating the google android app maker, mainly from an Aprilia RiderSite point of view at the mo.

I found an SV650 user guide that one of the SV650.org guys created (think it was them) and apart from being mildly impressed and hugely jealous, I think it could be something of use.. maybe Falco, RSV and Futura data compiled into one reference guide.

Once Ive got my head around the app making software I'll be looking for more inspiration as to what to include in it, but for now a show of hands?

(not an april fools btw..)

Recently bought one for my eldest son ...... would like one for myself but I think it'll be a few years before my N95 gives up the ghost so I can justify a new one ..........

The software is quite bloody confusing actually. I can normally geek my way through stuff, but im having to learn this one! Argh!

thats the one that's got my interest, although you wont be able to view it as an app without the relevant phone.. :smt002

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

i have andriod, use quite a few apps on it too.

If you want kwackerz, we could start up a min development team, might help the workload a little?

:smt001 Lol I'm at the 'Andriod Apps for Dummies' stage at the mo as far as Devving is concerned.. although as a user, im quite app'd up!

I think something along the lines of his App (clearly better) could be useful both to potential Aprilia buyers and existing owners.

Heck, might even be marketable.. :smt005

Alad, that sounds good. :smt001
