Hey all,
Have a look at the following picture and then tell me
a) What they are
b) What's wrong with them

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

On the bright side, you have a working rear brake

Rear brake pads

You've lost the calliper
At least they've got more friction material than you'll ever get through on an Aprilia's rear brake

my gpx has a habit of destroying pads. as in actually snapping the braking material in half. its quite annoying!

Bloody hell Steve, who told you there was a back brake on the Falco, I'm expecting my pads to out live me!

Oddly enough, I never had any problems with the Falco's rear brake. The pads I removed were the original Brembo items - I think I got my money's worth out of them.
The new ones are from SBS and I'm waiting to see what they're like once I get them bedded in.

Not bad that.. Best set i've seen were fitted backwards.. He rode it like that for 6 months before he "couldn't put up with the squeely rattle" any more.. The mind boggles some times..

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Wasn't a chap called "Paul" - from a bit to the east of here?

squeaky rattle... wonder who that could refer too.....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
