http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XihQeZpwqpE Russian R1 ... whats the word.. ah yes. TWAT..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lxgi0XD7c8 Although not quite 'stupidness' so much as sheer lunacy? According to Sam Jr, 'He's not that good is he, he keeps missing apexes and stuff' :smt005 :smt005

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I can get better mileage out of a set of tyres ..... and out of a set of wheel rims ....

As for the R1 rider - as I said the last time I saw that video - he won't last long

Can't remember how many times I've seen the Greek one over the years, but the copper at 3.38 never catches him. :smt002

Buick .................... ?? OK

R1 ...................... Bet he doesn't make too many more videos! Nutter.

Fiesta ................. Absolutely brilliant.

Sorry but there ain't no better way to have fun on wheels than driving a rally car, (even much slower than that!).
The Buick trick gets done a lot!
It's the only real thing that stopped me biking for any time.
Just that you only get limited opportunities to do it.
Biking you can do any time, is almost as much fun, and a lot cheaper.

Buick ................... I'm still laughing, he's brave I'll give him that

R1 ...................... I must be the only one who thinks its great!!
Crazy? yes. Stupid? yes.......but I love it... I also love the Ghostrider stuff, 180mph wheelies!! bring it on

Fiesta ................. Makes me wonder how good Sebastian Loeb would be if
he turned his hand to this kind of thing

F9 :smt006

Buick - that's not a jump it's a Yump!

R1 - he's only a bit mad isn't he?

Fiesta - tbh I got bored with that one - back in the day every self-respecting club rallyist could sling their road car around like that (but usually saved it for the rallies)!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

I do think it was great (the r1).. i was just waiting for someone else to say it first!! I think the greek guy on the zx9 was a lot more polished with his display of lunacy..

That's what I meant, you had to save it for the rallies really!
I did have a special bit of local country road road, near where I lived in those days, that I used late at night for set up testing, (not easy with a rally car is you get no real testing time), but I mainly did "Road Rallies" in those days and this run had bits of everything.
An old Mk1 Twin Cam Escort wasn't that quick, compared with more modern stuff, but you could just chuck it into bends sideways, and get it on opposite lock under power. Unlike a road bike the fun only started when the thing was sliding.
I often used to get people asking what it was like in a rallly car and could they go for a ride, so I would very occasionally take somebody out down this run.
They always went very quiet, looking at the way you are going through the passenger window was always an interesting experience for them.
Then throw in two or three serious handbrake hairpins, and the smile would start to come back.

Sorry I'll shut up now, ................. just happy memories.
