steering damper
ok never saw the need for one before when using clip ons but have changed to renthals over winter, have had a few head shakes and wouldn't mind a damper. does the tuono or mille one do the job. if i'm correct the yokes do have a threaded hole to bolt one to?

Yep
Early Mille and original tuono
Sachs unit - red - non adjustable and ok
Ohlins unit - adjustable and rather lovely :) but not cheap
Make sure you get the connector bits as well
Falco is already fitted with mounting holes

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Ah, I wondered what that hole in the lower yoke was for...and what I was missing
I've found the Falco keen to shake it's head, I'm putting it down to the worn front tyre though as the ride height both ends is standard.
More reason to fit a damper:

I found the standard red Mille damper to be a good addition on my last Falco and I've just fitted another to my latest Falco as I've also done the Renthal conversion
Its worth bearing in mind when buying a steering damper that where it fits on the Falco makes in unadjustable whilst out riding. I had this same issue on my Tuono after I bought a beautiful titanium Arrow steering damper to replace the standard one. At low speed I wanted the damping to be minimal but when out on fast B roads I wanted to be able to turn it up "on the move" so to speak and I couldn't. It ended up being far too stiff at low speed and not stiff enough when I was cracking on
In the end it seemed like a waste of money so I sold it and went back to the std one. As I say its just worth bearing in mind if you're planning on investing in a nice Ohlins or Arrow damper

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!
