#1 Post by GregD-UK » Tue Mar 01, 2011 9:32 pm

Hi all,

Got some 2003 mille rsv1000 front calipers, have also bought some razor discs :smt003 Seen some Gold Fren pads in fleebay about £26.00. Would the Gold Fren pads do with the razor discs guys?

Cheers

I seem to recall hearing poor things about the Gold Fren pads. If there's one thing I wouldn't skimp on, it's decent pads. If you want good quality but inexpensive, I'd go for Ferodo Platinum. You should be able to pick up two pairs of them for around £35 - £40 plus P&P.

Don't buy them Gold Fren pads, they're utter crap. I bought a set for my VFR750 hack, and n threw them in the bin after a month. Bloody awful! No feel and very unimpressive bite and fade like mad when worked. Swapped them for EBC's, like night and day.
1st Italian bike. 1st V-twin, loving it!
