What a great race and well done Casey.

I can see why Rossi wasn't to worried about the power the Ducati had, after all they won't do so well at the tighter courses.

I'm damn sure of one thing tho, Honda have slipped up big time atm. Seems to me they've thrown Haydn to the wolves in preference to Pedrosa, which will I'm sure bode evil later on in the season.

Great ride from a damaged Hopkins as well, I was hoping he'd get past Pedrosa. I think he's going to be the surprise of the year

Casey rode like a seasoned pro. He richly deserved that now he's been given a bike that works with him and his style. That drive! Absolutely stonking the way it still had legs to pull away from anything else on the track.
This season looks to be one of the most interesting theyve had. I know it's early days, but the Honda is down, Yam maintaining, Ducati stonking away on long straights... Im usually peeved when Rossi doesnt win, but that was a brilliant race. Cant wait for the rest of the season!! I do wonder if the Duck just aced it on gearing though. It wasnt too clever round the twisty bits..

Hopkins rode brilliantly, a pity Jez didnt make it.

I'm a Rossi fan like you Kwaks, but nice to see Casey win, and nice to see the Duke goin so bloody quick. Can't remember ever seein a bike passing the others so easily on the straights though, didn't need to slipstream just buggered off.
The other thing with Rossi is how genuinely he tends to congratulate young riders when they win their first races.
No mind games then, that comes later!
It's gonna be good this year, that Yam looks set up great already.
Still going with my prediction, Rossi for MotoGP and JT for Superbikes.
