price guide?

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Mon Jan 10, 2011 6:48 pm

friend of hanna's is looking at a falco

its a plomb grey /diablo black on a 2004 plate.

8000 miles and has both the seat hump and rear seat.

standard apart from a set of akrapovich cans - i am assuming slip ons only

Is listed for 3250 ukp

I will go cast an eye over it tomorrow night

am thinking of having to budget for:

possible new headlight
new sidestand
possible tyres

for the future, rear shock, luggage or tank bag etc

I have an idea on his budget but just wanted an idea of the market

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Knock them down a bit as it's winter, hardly anyone else will be buying at this time of year.

Parker's says £2650 from a dealer but I think they price a bit low and it has extras fitted.

Grey and black - is that a US spec paintjob? If it's an unofficial import that's got to be worth knocking a few quid off.

..... and further info reveals that the one at the top of the thread is not plomb grey /diablo black ...... so we still have no evidence that any of them made it to uk.

Pete tells me that he's now seen the one he posted above and it turns out that it's the other US colour (same as fastasfcuk's).
