Main Beam.....

#1 Post by moggyvan » Wed Dec 22, 2010 5:31 pm

Some years ago I fitted an HID headlamp kit to my bike. It's only fitted to dipped beam due to packaging constraints, i.e. bugger all room for two kits.
Is there a way of re-jigging the wiring at the switches connector socket, or will I have to mess with the actual switch so that when main beam is selected, dipped beam stays on. The dipped HID lamp is rated at 35 Watts so it shouldn't be an issue. :smt017

Try this: https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.php?t=1517

Pretty easy to do, all you need to do is to solder a wee bit of wire in the LHS connector.
