Cold feet? - try these boots

#1 Post by MartDude » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:05 pm

Just treated myself to these; needed new work boots anyway, we've been out of heating oil at work for 2 weeks (stingy employer - 'it's colder on the building sites - stop moaning'), work on a concrete floor, got bad circulation (Reynaud's). Bloody fantastic (if not the cheapest) - feet have been really warm all day (temp. crept just above zero), waterproof, Thinsulate lined, isulated sole, composite toecaps & midsole (which don't radiate heat away, unlike steel). Recommended.

Also recently got these padded overalls. Again, fantastic for keeping one warm & toasty. Didn't need them to be waterproof, but it's all my local shop had, & it seems to halp keep the draughts out:

Good stuff, although the same can't be said about your employer, Mart. I've always found Lawsons to be an excellent source for all manner of stuff, from earplugs to twist drills to power tools. And they're helpful and knowledgeable, as well as having very keen prices.
