Brake lights

#1 Post by Falconihlist » Thu Nov 18, 2010 5:06 pm

I had the bike MOT'd yesterday and it passed with 2 advisories, no chain guard, and a slightly slack chain(new). Just as I was warming up the bike this afternoon to head home from work, noticed that the rear lights were on. Thinking it was the normal riding lights I checked the switch as I thought I had turned them off. Turns out the brake light is permanently on. I replaced the rear micro switch last month, and haven't had any problem so far till now.

To that end, apart from checking that the microswitches at the front and rear are working, does anyone know where else I may need to look?

Cheers

Rob

Problem solved, checked the switches and found that the rubber cover has perished and has let water in, so now it looks like having to strip it and then use a bit of heat shrink and solder another one on.

no, not yet. Trying to work out if I am going to get some new stickers, or just remove them totally.
