Report from the third world....

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sat Nov 06, 2010 5:13 pm

Coventry city

Out sung, out fought and eventually out classed....

Discuss :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Out thugged and clearly out of favour with the idiot with the whistle.

..... and why oh why do we get the team selections that we do :smt009

you are still above us in the table - and why are we better away from home than at elland road?

and yes, some of the tackles were a little ..... enthusiastic....

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I still love that nick name! But i look back to revies team and marvel - i think southampton have every reason to hate us more than anyone....

But, that was then - this season just avoiding relegation is what we want

Good old days - Norman "bites your legs" Hunter

Buried in the depths of the attic I think I have the autographs of most of Don Revie's team from ca. 1968. Must investigate

See they lost again last night.
Brilliant goal from Majewski.
Loved it every tome Marlon King got the ball he was booed, even picking it up to hand it to someone to take a throw in.

Indeed - and the place where royalty once held court, the place Parliament was held on a number of occasions and one of the most important historical cities in the country (.... and it's not even my home town)

Didn't they used to churn out some sort of metal in that place you come from?

It's a fun story, but historical records show that it probably never happened.

Quite a good site.. Even if you're not from Coventry, or even if you've never been here. Say what you like, but it's a fascinating place to live. :smt004
