for positive vibes, wishes and prayers for Tim's eldest who has been on life support for a few days already following double pneumonia and some as yet undiagnosed problem.
His boss had Tim back in the country in double quick time but a minor miracle is still needed.
This afternoon she has been moved from Addenbrookes to the major European ECMO centre at Leicester University Hospital.
Becky was taken ill on her 17th birthday.

Sam that's dreadful, my thoughts and prayers will be with them. I saw what Tim posted on Facebook and came over her to find out what was wrong - it's terrible that they don't know!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Shite
I am so sorry
I am in Nottingham tonight - I can call in to Leicester tomorrow evening if I can help at all
Will send Tim a text
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

You may think you have problems but you don't really when you hear of things like this
Thoughts and best wishes for them all

hope she makes a full recovery.. When they can find out what the problem is of course!

hi all, thanks most sincerely for the support, its been a very dark time indeed and still a long way to go but since she arrived at leics, things have felt more positive. shes currently 80% oxygen from the machine which is an improvement from 100%... but its early days. she is a fighter by her very nature so is giving as gd as she gets, and isnt giving in. tomorrow we should get a better picture from the hospital, who are specialists in this sort of thing. addenbrooke, whilst excellent, cant match leicester who have already worked wonders. theres a small glimmer of light, which we are heading towards slowly. her lungs are fekked, body naturally in shutdown which is normal, but the hossie is upbeat. they know their shit,so i have no reason to be anything but 100% positive. they havent held back with info or answers to questions. we still dont know what caused it. theyve got the means to support her though while they battle to find it.
