Have been thinking about getting the Bike resprayed and have almost made up my mind on one ( Aprilia racing RSV ) BUT wouldn't mind some other thoughts or ideas if indeed any ...........other then piss take !!!

Has anyone resprayed their bike or is there anywhere i could look for more ideas .......was thinking of staying with an Aprilia colours old or new ....
It has the lower Fairing so that may help ....
Bored and thinking too much out here so thought i'd throw this out there to see what replies i get ......

Hi all,
All I can say is that the world is your oyster

Have you tried the gallery on the AF1 site?
The yanks have some inventive designs on their machines.....

take some good photos of your bike - preferably on a neutral background that can be removed
acquire photoshop - play :)
then paint it black to make it fast !
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'm also toying with the idea of a re-spray. Haven't yet got to the cost of an all new paint job (£100's no doubt) but quite like British Racing Green.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I had a TL1000S in British Racing Green and it looked well 'andsome, I thought. The rest of the bike (engine excepted) wasn't a patch on the Falco, though.

Great looking bike but i'm thinking with red and green involved as well ..........just used Facebook for what it's meant to be used for and got in touch with an old mate from school who now designs for Walt Disney but designed graphics for Ducati WSB team and Kawasakis back in the 90s. Am sending him some photos of the bike and my ideas and see what he can comed up with ......worth a try !!
It's in for progressive springs in the forks and to have the throttle bodies sorted next week then a dyno run to hopefully sort the whole thing out and get it running right ......the respray comes after that.........

We saw a orange and green ducati which looked excellent. It was all done in a deep metal flake effect. The sides of the tank were in green and the orange was a wide stripe down the centre (the width of the tank). It sounds like a shit colour scheme but it was really well done. In fact the Mrs liked it so much that i have to do her 695 in the same colours next year.

Funny you mention a ducati as i've seen one done in the flag colours and that looked awesome , i just figure that as there's a good chance i'm just going to keep the bike full stop why not " TART" it up as best i can ......
Don't tell anyone but i'm already saving for the BMW S1000RR ........two kids a misses and a house to sell but should just about get enough !!!

I'd like a bike that went from black nose to white rear with all the proper colours blending from one to the other (16+b&w)
