Salesman

#1 Post by crosstowntraffic » Tue Mar 06, 2007 11:47 am

A lonely travelling salesman was eating a lone in a restaurant when he notices a gorgeous redhead also eating alone at the table opposite. However being a shy kind of guy he has trouble trying to talk to her. Finally just as he is about to go for it she sneezes and her glass eye flies out of its socket and across his table; casually he plucks it from the air wipes it on his napkin and hands it back. Naturally the lady is grateful and invites him to join her. They have a great meal and decide to go on to a club where there dance the night away, then its back to hers for a coffee and a wonderful night of passion. In the morning the lady gets up and starts cooking a full English. The salesman can’t believe his luck, this sort of thing never happens to him.
“Why me?” he asks her
“Oh I don’t know you just happened to catch my eye”……………………………….

Knew a girl like that once -

She looked at me
I looked at her

She rolled her eyes at me

I rolled them back - I didn't want them :smt003

And then she said "I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm in town"

Reminds me of a Fred Wedlock song back in the 1970s !

(To the tune of "Side by Side")
I got married last Friday
Had me wife there beside me
Guests had gone home
We were alone
Side by side

We got married for bed then
I nearly fell over dead when
Teeth and her hair
She placed on the chair
Side by side

Her little glass eye did follow
Her wooden leg so small
Along with other attachments
She placed on the chair by the wall

I was so broken-hearted
that most of me wife was parted
So I slept on the chair
There was more of her there
Side by side
